Time flies by! It was time for yet another cover for LAJV Magazine! This time we went to an old forge, like an black smiths cottage! The person we shot was skicross wonder Anna Holmlund. After the last season starting off with a nasty fall and a damaged knee she´s back for a new season!
The idea for the picture was to have her leg covered in chains and locks just like Harry Houdini 🙂 and with her trying to break loose!
We had some problems with the sun coming in through the door where i shot, but we found some big paper signs that we put up, and one of my softboxes was used to cover my computer screen from the sun.
The light setup was as usually two Profoto Magnum reflectors from behind, a Profoto Beautydish as fill light in the cottage and the ringflash ofcourse. It was kind of tight to set up everything in there so one of the flash heads had to be be stuck between the wall and the fireplace 😀
I had great help from Erik & Finn from the magazine and since i forgot to take any behind the scenes images i was happy to get Finn’s iPhone photos!
I forgot to show you the how the pictures for Corroded turned out! We shot them in june out on a dragracing strip. You can read about that here. Now there is a new album on the way very soon and i’m posteing the images used here! Hope you like them!
Last year i did a campaign for a soccer team that tried to get up to the highest serie. It went very well, so about a week ago it was time for another shoot. It was for their upcoming match against Gävle.
The idea for the image is very Swedish 🙂 In Gävle they have a enormous version of the hay animal in the image, so … you get the idea 😀
Last year i did a series of portraits of hockey players from a team that had to qualify to stay in the highest series here in Sweden. Well the pictures turned out great and the team stayed in the series (of course :)).
So this year i did a new set of portraits of the team, but this time they had a more warlike look 😀 I had them screaming and turning like never before! It’s actually almost impossible to get that energy that you get from a real scream with just looking like you’re screaming!
I’ll be at Photokina 18-23 september, or at least my image 🙂 In Profoto’s booth they will be showing a showreel of different photographers using their products, and i’m in it. So check it out

Well, it was time for yet another cover for LAJV-magazine. This time it was a portrait of seven (!!) persons. The article was about a event that the rock club Pipeline is arranging to raise money for a new sound system to the club.
I wanted them to look like a cross between the french revolution, some rebels and the landing in Normandie 😀 I found a little stone beach be the sea which was perfect. As usually there was no electricity there so i used three Pro-7Bs for the lights. I told them to run towards me and scream there hearts out, they really went for it i can tell you! They ran like there was a fire behind them 😀 Very good!
They had brought some props from the club that was perfect for the image!
