Days at work

This year I once again shot Smile’s sponsor images of athlete Charlotte Kalla. We did a whole bunch of images in my studio but also some at a café downtown. Below is the image they use on their webpage.

IT-consultants Masarin is a company i’ve done some portraits for during the years. Even if they’re rather simple I like them a lot. They’re shot in studio with a black backdrop which i later put in some concrete structure in. One fun fact is that the structure i use is shot up at BOX Destillery during another assignment!

Together with  Gullers Grupp I’ve shot a campaign for SCA and their new Graphocote paper during this spring. The campaign has the theme “It’s all in the details” and will go worldwide in different magazines. I’ve shot different situations where the details are very important. Really fun assignment and the result looks great!

Permobil M5 is Permobils latest product and for the launch I went to France to shoot film & pictures for the campaign. We also did two days in Sweden with the same chair. Besides foie gras and very nice people we found the coolest café which we also used as a location for the pictures!

During june, july, august and september you can see my exhibition “My Way” at Abecita Art Museum in Borås! To send my big prints to the museum I had to make some kind of “crate” to keep the prints safe, since they are mounted framless on thing aluminum.
I ended up building a big box in which the prints could be.
When I got to the opening of the exhibition we did a short video presentation (in swedish) and there was also an artist talk later in the evening.

During Photoshop Day, a yearly arrangement by Batteri Kommunikation, you can listen, amongst others, to me talking about my way of working. It’s in Gothenburg on the 22:nd of october and in Stockholm on the 23:rd of october. Otto Wallin, WBA Continental Heavyweight Champion, stopped by the studio to shoot some new images for one of his sponsors Kent Watch & Jewellery. What a nice guy!! We shot a lot of action shots with smoke and also some more dressed up ones with the suit on! Now Otto has moved to New York to continue his training and his boxing career “over there”!

To shoot bands is really a lot of fun! Almost it’s the band themselves you have direct contact with, fast and uncomplicated!

Yesterday i shot a band called A Choir of Ghosts. The pictures are for their upcoming single and press.

The idea was pretty simple, shoot them in the woods with a mystic touch without showing both of them too much!I I went out location scouting a couple of days before and found a really cool place! On the day of the shoot we packed all of the stuff we needed and headed out into the woods! It seemed a lot longer this time with all the equipment!

I was thinking of bringing my smoke machine but instead we used “Battlesmoke” grenades! The shoot went super except that I found out that shooting a band by yourself and at the same time run a around with a smoke grenade is kind of hard! 😀 Lucky me i could fire off my PhaseOne camera from my phone while running with the smoke!!
