About a week ago a shot for a campaign for a car repair and sales place. We shot in the middle of nowhere and it was really cold, the sun was great though and the sky was as blue as can be! The idea was to shoot a guy looking really lost in front of two road signs that we’d got made for us. Of course i had found the perfect spot to shoot which forced me to stand in the middle of the road, having to run back and forth the camera, ringflash, computer and all the cables each time a car came!
The add just started running and it looks great, let’s hope it has the desired impact as well!

Just had a another shoot with YOHIO, it was an extra picture for his japanese album release. Just as usual his whole entourage came with him to the studio 🙂 I think this had to be the fastest and most effective shoot we have had together, everything just fell into place! And as soon as he had found one shot he liked we where done! But as no big surprise it was panic to get the image ready, so i spent the whole day after retouching it to perfection!
The finished image turned out great, the combination of a super rad artist and a cool guitar just can’t go wrong i guess!

Last week i went down to Stockholm to shoot a table 🙂 It was for a webpage that will use this image on their entry page on the site. But it was actually not your average table, it was Alfred Nobels old desk! But that was not the reason that we used it, the image was supposed to be an old desk with old stuff on it. So we had old matchboxes, a telephone, books and even a stick of dynamite!!
I’ll post the finished image as soon as it’s finished!

Shot YOHIO last week again, it was the second time in two weeks time! Last time it was promotional images for his appearance in the Melodifestivalen and this time it was images for his new album. Since i have been lousy when it comes to blogging i’m posting photos from both shoots. A big thanks to Tommy at Ninetone Records that took the photo of me shooting 🙂

Sad but true, yesterday i shot the very last cover for LAJV Magazine 🙁 The last issue will be this one. A lot of great fun i’ve hade doing them, and i’ve done 18 shoots for the covers, and 20 if you count the two that had my pictures on the cover that i’d taken earlier. The thing that have been amazing is the freedom i’ve had on these shoots! We’ve shot people carrying crosses, crazy military men, naked kings and cowboy fights!
For this last shot we killed the magazine, literally 🙂 We staged a murder of the magazine in an old garage and Erik & Robin from the magazine got to act as photographer and detective in the shot! I’m very impressed with their acting!
Rest in piece LAJV!

Friday last week i shot another image for Prosharp, manufacturer of the worlds best skate sharpeners!
The last shot we did was this one and now they wanted something retro again as they have a long history. So we decided to make a image a the local hockey rink. So old skates, sticks, pads and other stuff was collected and i took off for the shoot. The day we did the shot was really cold! It’s amazing that all the gear works! The only thing i noticed was that the LCD in the viewfinder of my camera got really slooooooow 🙂
After a lot of moving lights, props and children we got ready to shoot! Everybody did a great job and i’m very pleased with the finished image!

A local newspaper was launching it’s electronic newspaper for iPad and other tablets. Together with their agency Sweet Williams & POP i got the mission to shoot images that was used in an ad campaign where the message was to not mix the traditionell news paper with the electronic version … 🙂

Sandra Jonsson, or more known as Sweet Sandy, was the portrait for the december issue of LAJV Magazine. Sweet Sandy has a webshop with the same name which sells 40/50/60’s looking clothes.
My vision was to shoot the cover in some cool looking warehouse with her and a lot of boxes on the way to be sent out to customers.
We didn’t find any cool looking warehouse nearby, but a nice big old garage under one of the hotels down town looked really promising.
We packed the car full of gear and went there. It took some time to fold up all the boxes which would be in the image. But as time went by the corner in the garage started to look like a nice old warehouse from the 50’s 🙂
Sandy did a great job acting in the image!

Just before i left for the states i went out to Timrå Betong to shoot some portraits and a group picture. It’s amazing how cool everything looks inside a place like this, it’s like everything is more “for real”. After i’d moved a ton of things into the picture to give it the right industrial feel we took this picture.

The next picture we shot for Permobil was a scene where this guy in his Permobil was pulling up a truck from a ditch! They’d found a great old truck that was perfect for the shoot. And the location was on a road just by a cool old barn. It was kind of tricky to shoot there as i stood in the middle of a road where about every big truck in the US was passing by 😀 And since a lot of my lighting was out in the road as well we had one gut on each light to move them every time a truck came by.
The shoot went very well and thanks to everybody for a terrific time!
Now there is some post production to be done!
