Dogs and fire for a newspaper

January 15th, 2013

A local newspaper was launching it’s electronic newspaper for iPad and other tablets. Together with their agency Sweet Williams & POP i got the mission to shoot images that was used in an ad campaign where the message was to not mix the traditionell news paper with the electronic version … 🙂

Concrete!

December 3rd, 2012

Just before i left for the states i went out to TimrÃ¥ Betong to shoot some portraits and a group picture. It’s amazing how cool everything looks inside a place like this, it’s like everything is more “for real”. After i’d moved a ton of things into the picture to give it the right industrial feel we took this picture.

Images to dance to!

New images for Yohio!

November 21st, 2012

Last week i shot new images of YOHIO. The images are to be used for press releases and of course now that he is picked to compete in the “melodifestivalen” (Swedens pre eurovision song contest) i guess they will be needing new images of his new look which is more boy-like then his old look.

Now we’re crossing our fingers that he qualifies to the big Swedish final this spring!

LAJV cover november

November 5th, 2012

One of the fastest cover shoots ever, at least when it comes to the timeline between getting the info about who to shoot and doing the actual shoot!

Anyway, the guy for this issue was Fredrik, who is extremely good at fixing up engines. Me and Erik from LAJV met Fredrik in is shop where we were doing the shoot.
I had in my head imagined an old shop from -73 with spilled oil and old engines everywhere. That is NOT how the look nowadays i can tell you 🙂 More like an surgery room than what i thought 🙂 Very clean and computers an rolling shelfs with tools hanging neatly.

We found an engine which we hanged in front of him and then i started with the lighting before i began shooting. Lucky for me Fredrik had seen some of my earlier covers so it didn’t come as a complete chock when i asked him to start to act and scream! 😀 But the rest of the people in the shop came to a complete stop as we started 😀

Thanks to Erik for the picture from the shoot!

Soccer images

September 24th, 2012

Last year i did a campaign for a soccer team that tried to get up to the highest serie. It went very well, so about a week ago it was time for another shoot. It was for their upcoming match against Gävle.
The idea for the image is very Swedish 🙂 In Gävle they have a enormous version of the hay animal in the image, so … you get the idea 😀

Hockey! 2012/2013

September 17th, 2012

Last year i did a series of portraits of hockey players from a team that had to qualify to stay in the highest series here in Sweden. Well the pictures turned out great and the team stayed in the series (of course :)).

So this year i did a new set of portraits of the team, but this time they had a more warlike look 😀 I had them screaming and turning like never before! It’s actually almost impossible to get that energy that you get from a real scream with just looking like you’re screaming!

The board goes in the water

September 1st, 2012

Well, it was time for yet another cover for LAJV-magazine. This time it was a portrait of seven (!!) persons. The article was about a event that the rock club Pipeline is arranging to raise money for a new sound system to the club.

I wanted them to look like a cross between the french revolution, some rebels and the landing in Normandie 😀 I found a little stone beach be the sea which was perfect. As usually there was no electricity there so i used three Pro-7Bs for the lights. I told them to run towards me and scream there hearts out, they really went for it i can tell you! They ran like there was a fire behind them 😀 Very good!

They had brought some props from the club that was perfect for the image!

I think it turned out great, I hope you like them!
