Days at work

From idea to finished image …

October 11th, 2013

I was doing some laundry the other day when i found a sketch för this years firts shoot for Dragons Basketball. It’s always fun looking at the first sketch when everything is done and printed, to see what you changed from the original idea/sketch. I made this sketch during a meeting with the art director for this project, Jocke på Sweet Williams and P&P.

The idea and finished product was very much the same, there where some small changes as there was no audience on the image and i added the theater interior which i found when i shot the chairs. It added a really nice theater feeling i think.

The players was shot at their home arena, the red drapes on Svea Theater and the stage, chairs and interior at the Sundsvall Theater.

Now we will continue with the second image in the series, but more on that later …

(Svenska) Love Melander 2013

September 5th, 2013

Just in the beginning of the summer i was asked to shoot some new images of the illusionist Love Melander. The result of that shoot is this image. I’m sorry that i didn’t take any behind the scenes pictures, but it was a really short planned shoot! I hope you like it!

DJs

August 28th, 2013

Last monday i shot the DJ-duo VHS. They just got picked up by Ninetone and they needed new promotional pictures. We did the shoot at Sundsvall City Hall, in one of the rooms behind the big hall. Like always all the corners and walls are in the way when i set up the light but it worked out ok anyway 😉 We took five different shots and i’ve just fixed the two first ..

Summer & barbeque

July 29th, 2013

Summer is here and so is vacation, may it’s not hard to notice on the amount of posts i’ve done lately 🙂

Here is the finished image from the shoot we did earlier this summer of the barbeque-guy! It’s used in ads where there is text over the cars.

An animated desk!

April 17th, 2013

A couple of weeks ago i went down to Stockholm to shoot a desk 😀 You can read about that here.
Anyway, after some time now we are finally finished with the image! We shot one still image and one Cinemagraph, i’ve tested it before buy never for a customer.

The idea was to shoot it as a experiment and then have the still image as the backup. But as the customer liked the “moving still image” som much we started working on it as soon as we came home!
The image is used as a welcome image for Groth & Co. webpage (www.groth.se)
Bilden används på Groth & Co. hemsida (www.groth.se)

So click on the image below and wait for a couple of seconds … 🙂

Signs in the middle of the winter

March 28th, 2013

About a week ago a shot for a campaign for a car repair and sales place. We shot in the middle of nowhere and it was really cold, the sun was great though and the sky was as blue as can be! The idea was to shoot a guy looking really lost in front of two road signs that we’d got made for us. Of course i had found the perfect spot to shoot which forced me to stand in the middle of the road, having to run back and forth the camera, ringflash, computer and all the cables each time a car came!

The add just started running and it looks great, let’s hope it has the desired impact as well!

More YOHIO

February 23rd, 2013

Shot YOHIO last week again, it was the second time in two weeks time! Last time it was promotional images for his appearance in the Melodifestivalen and this time it was images for his new album. Since i have been lousy when it comes to blogging i’m posting photos from both shoots. A big thanks to Tommy at Ninetone Records that took the photo of me shooting 🙂
