Days at work

A while ago it was time to shot Birsta City’s fashion campaign for spring/summer 2015. The theme for this year was color and we used colored smoke in all the images. We used up over 100 smoke bombs for the images and commercial. I went out to the location somewhere around 07.00 where they already had set up for the filming. Cold, windy but with a lot of sun sums up the day. The bigg Arri-screen bent both steel stands that it was mounted on!

Somewhere around 19.00 i packed up my things and went home. I’ve just finished editing all the images and sent them to the agency! It looked really good!

Shot a new cover for a new tourist magazine last week. This time they wanted a parachuter coming down over a already shot aerial picture. So we had to build a thing where the model could hang and then place two big fans underneath her! Now all i have to do is put the two images together!

Now Prosharp’s new product, Prosharp Home, is finally released. So alson my new picture for them! I hope you like it!

Well, now it’s time again for yet another Prosharp image! We had scoted for a place that would work as a entrance in a 50/60s home. Props had been gathered from different places. One problem was the shooting distance! I ended up half way out the window to get the right shot 🙂 The walls was not as i wanted the, too bright!! So i made my own wallpaper in Photoshop that i’ll put upp in post. Also got a nice knitted piece made in 3D that will go up on the wall!

Just before christmas i shot a magazine cover with artist Eric Saade. Me and my agent, Patricia, went and started setting up a mobile studio at Spårvagnshallarna in Stockholm. OP Communications, who makes the magazine, recides in the same building. Later Eric Saade and his crew came and we could start shooting. As no big surprice the shoot went really well, Eric is used to pose in front of a camera! Even though they had many different outfits he really looked the coolest in the things he came in, so we went with that!

The lighting was made with two Profoto softboxes (large strips) from the back, one Profoto 3×4 softbox from the left side and Profoto ringflash.

Well, the harder the music the nicer members in the band! 😀 Shot the super hard deathmetalband Soreption just after christmas and like all the other times i’ve shot them we had a blast! They needed new pictures for future use. We did two different setups, one in black & white and one in colour.

Ninetone Records recently signed popact Abase, who signs covers of 90’s top band Ace of Base. For the release they needed new images. So during a very long day in the studio we shot singel and group images, each with four different outfits, so we got quite a few pictures this day 🙂

Early in the morning last week me and Sweetpop’s art director Mattias went up to Box Distillery to shoot some new winter images for their webpage and christmas shop. We did both an exterior view and some product shots inside the distillery. The feeling we wanted was the cold of the winter here up north and the warmth coming out from the distillery.

A couple of weeks ago i shot a cover for Robbin & JP, former participants of the TV show “Paradise Hotel”, who just released a single. The image was suppose to look like they’ve just woke up in a hotel room the day after a big party having no clue of what happened?

We got a hotel room which we started setting up a couple of hours before the shoot.

It’s always a little bit tricky lighting a very small room, but i got it as i wanted after a while!
