Our soccer team GIF Sundsvall is getting ready for the climb up to the top this season. I got the mission to help them with som pictures. We shot all the images inside the arena, the sun was shining even if it was kind of cold. Lucky for my i could take the car all the way in where we was to shoot, so no more carrying to day!
I set up my gear and my computer and we started shooting. I used my car as a desk/sun protection since the sun was so strong.
We took both action and more posed pictures, we got some clouds at the end of the shoot but it turned out great anyway!
When i had packed everything in my car again and was getting ready to go home the car didn’t start! I had by accident left the ignition on and the battery was dead! 🙁 Lucky for me one of the guys working at the arena helped my out!

OK, weird ideas usually is my thing, but to put a man in a badrobe in a GoCart while he’s eating a pizza and getting a massage at the same time actually came from someone else! 😀 It was the idea for a car repair firm that offers their customers free Gocart racing, massage and pizza while their car is being serviced.
So after a lot of setting up, moving and lifting go carts and of course shooting we had a image we where happy with. Now all that i had to do was to sit down with my computer for some hours!

SPV has been a frequent customers for the last couple of years, it has been everything from stock-like images to shots for specific campaigns. Yesterday i shot images for a conference they’ll be having later this year.
The idea was to shoot images of a cone filled with candy and the candy would symbolize the different options you can do with your pension.
The ad agency was there and had their hands full, literally, with candy. Trying to get the cone to look as good as it could!

About a week ago a shot for a campaign for a car repair and sales place. We shot in the middle of nowhere and it was really cold, the sun was great though and the sky was as blue as can be! The idea was to shoot a guy looking really lost in front of two road signs that we’d got made for us. Of course i had found the perfect spot to shoot which forced me to stand in the middle of the road, having to run back and forth the camera, ringflash, computer and all the cables each time a car came!
The add just started running and it looks great, let’s hope it has the desired impact as well!

Just had a another shoot with YOHIO, it was an extra picture for his japanese album release. Just as usual his whole entourage came with him to the studio 🙂 I think this had to be the fastest and most effective shoot we have had together, everything just fell into place! And as soon as he had found one shot he liked we where done! But as no big surprise it was panic to get the image ready, so i spent the whole day after retouching it to perfection!
The finished image turned out great, the combination of a super rad artist and a cool guitar just can’t go wrong i guess!

Last week i went down to Stockholm to shoot a table 🙂 It was for a webpage that will use this image on their entry page on the site. But it was actually not your average table, it was Alfred Nobels old desk! But that was not the reason that we used it, the image was supposed to be an old desk with old stuff on it. So we had old matchboxes, a telephone, books and even a stick of dynamite!!
I’ll post the finished image as soon as it’s finished!

Shot YOHIO last week again, it was the second time in two weeks time! Last time it was promotional images for his appearance in the Melodifestivalen and this time it was images for his new album. Since i have been lousy when it comes to blogging i’m posting photos from both shoots. A big thanks to Tommy at Ninetone Records that took the photo of me shooting 🙂

Sad but true, yesterday i shot the very last cover for LAJV Magazine 🙁 The last issue will be this one. A lot of great fun i’ve hade doing them, and i’ve done 18 shoots for the covers, and 20 if you count the two that had my pictures on the cover that i’d taken earlier. The thing that have been amazing is the freedom i’ve had on these shoots! We’ve shot people carrying crosses, crazy military men, naked kings and cowboy fights!
For this last shot we killed the magazine, literally 🙂 We staged a murder of the magazine in an old garage and Erik & Robin from the magazine got to act as photographer and detective in the shot! I’m very impressed with their acting!
Rest in piece LAJV!

Friday last week i shot another image for Prosharp, manufacturer of the worlds best skate sharpeners!
The last shot we did was this one and now they wanted something retro again as they have a long history. So we decided to make a image a the local hockey rink. So old skates, sticks, pads and other stuff was collected and i took off for the shoot. The day we did the shot was really cold! It’s amazing that all the gear works! The only thing i noticed was that the LCD in the viewfinder of my camera got really slooooooow 🙂
After a lot of moving lights, props and children we got ready to shoot! Everybody did a great job and i’m very pleased with the finished image!

A local newspaper was launching it’s electronic newspaper for iPad and other tablets. Together with their agency Sweet Williams & POP i got the mission to shoot images that was used in an ad campaign where the message was to not mix the traditionell news paper with the electronic version … 🙂
