Fast work in Capture One

February 21st, 2012

Sometimes some things has to be done fast without the possibility to put in hours of Photoshop into an image. Just like yesterday when i helped Per, the drummer of Corroded, to shoot two images to his sponsor Paiste. I think we worked alltogether 20 minutes, 10 minutes of shooting, 10 minutes in Capture One and then the image was more or less finished!

We chose two images and then with the help of masks and the possibility to copy settings to several images in Capture One we did all the work in C1. Basic settings as Saturation, Lens Correction and Clarity can make wonders with a rock drummer! 🙂

The lighting was super basic, one Profoto 3X4 softbox form the right, nothing more …

New exhibition on the way

December 31st, 2011

Soon i will open my new exhibition! Starting in january there will be an exhibition inside Birsta City. I’ve actually already started by hanging some of my recent exhibition, but in january i will officially open with a lot of new material. Ofcourse there i will have some of my old favourites but also a lot of new ones!
The exhibition is titled Work and will show just that, work i’ve done during the past years!

Old test shots …

December 2nd, 2011

A good while ago i did a test shoot for a jewelry company. They didn’t use my images, they shot everything more clean. Nothing wrong in that, even if i like my images better 🙂

My workhorses …

November 25th, 2011

I really love my cameras! They’re really wonerful to work with. But i use them a lot and no matter if i shoot in the studio or in the middle of a stream in the woods, i just want to think about shooting without having to worry about things happening to my gear. Because stuff happens, a lot! 😀 Just recently my camera went in to the floor and both the viewfinder and the camera body got a pretty heavy fall! It’s times like that it is good to have a great insurance!

One of my babys just came home from the “rehab” and is now ready for new adventures 😀

Picture in a exhibition …

November 23rd, 2011

The portrait i shot of the actor Kim Tjärnström (from the movie Jägarna 2) is part of the exhibition “Portrait 2011” which is on display at Procenter in Stockholm.

If you are in the neighbourhood of Alsnögatan 11 so don’t hesitate to visit their pro shop. The exhibition consists of 48 portraits by 48 different photographers of more or less famous people.

I’m in the finals of the Hasselblad Masters!

July 8th, 2011

As i’ve just started blogging in english as well instead of just swedish i thought i’d write a post about my images that was selected for the Hasselblad Masters Awards this year. The voting is open until november 2011!

So believe it or not! I’m a finalist inthe Hasselblad Masters Awards! It was 3773 contributions in eleven categories. 110 of these made it to the finals, and one of them was me!

Which category did i make it in? Well, Wildlife was the one! The images was from a series of images i shot of the frieser horse Rocco.

It all feel very strange, but really fantastic!

And of course it would be great if you would vote for me! If you know anyone else who would be interested in supporting little me please feel free to forward the link!

Here is the link to my images at Hasselblad.com, here you can also vote for me, if you like them of course! 🙂

If you want to read about this shoot i’ve translated the old post to english here:  A horse and some lights …

I now have to blog twice as much!

July 6th, 2011

I’ve always wanted people from other countries than Sweden to be able to read my blog, especially from english speaking countries. But to only write in english at this stage would feel strange.

So at last i’ve installed a plug-in that lets the reader decide what language to display! English or swedish!

But a lot of my earlier posts are still only available in swedish, maybe i’ll translate some of them later. If you want me to translate any of my old posts please just write it in the comments and i’ll do it ASAP!
