ISPO Award 2015/2016

November 17th, 2014

Today is a big day! One of my clients, Prosharp, applied to the ISPO Award 2015/2016. ISPO is the worlds biggest sport exhibition in the world with more than 80.000 visitors and 2400 exhibitors! Just a couple of weeks ago Prosharp got a letter where they told them that the competition had been very hard and many very strong participants missed out on awards, but not yours! The congratulated on the highest award in the photo section, The ISPO Gold Award 2015/2016!

So you can guess who’s going to be in Munich together with the team from Prosharp on the 6:th of february! That’s when the ISPO Award show will take place!

The image from Bure

July 14th, 2014

UFOs in the middle of nowhere

July 8th, 2014

Summer at last! It usually means vacation and maybe some of my own projects as well! Last week i went into the woods to shoot a place i wanted to shoot for a long time, Bureplatsen! It’s a field with a big concrete base and wall in the middle of nowhere! It looks like some kind of landing base for UFO’s.

I’m doing some post on the image right now and it will go a little bit towards Sci-fi … 😀

The finished boat image

May 31st, 2014

This is how the “Boat Trip” image turned out, i hope you like it!

Below is also the sketch i did prior to the shoot, just to show the customer how i thought it would be done 😀

A portrait isn’t always just a portrait …

May 26th, 2014

I often work for commercial magazines. Some time ago i did a portrait for a magazine about a running race. It was a girl who sometimes talks in the radio about training and running. So they wanted her in the studio but with some training gear on. Here you can see how a simple portrait sometimes isn’t just that simple. The colors in the syudio where terrible, here clothes were kind of cool but didn’t match the interior of the room! The place where she usually sits when she’s a guest there wasn’t that good for shooting so i put her in the control guy’s seat instead.

Exhibition …

April 27th, 2014

The 24:th of april the exhibition “Hommage in Photography 1” opened and i have an image there. It was a very nice opening with a lot of guests and good meetings! The exhibition is a result of a project where different photographers chose a photographer to do a hommage to. The twist is that we all use the same “object”, someone from, or the whole rock band, Jetbone.
I chose Anton Corbijn and his portrait of Miles Davis where he has his hands in his face. But i did it my way with a lot of colors whilst the original is in blach & white.

The exhibition is open until the 30:th of august at the Hotel Diplomat in Stockholm. If you are in Stockholm during the summer take the chance to look at it!

A spread in the latest F Magazine

April 4th, 2014

I’m in the latest issue of the F magazine that is published by the Association of Swedish Professional Photographers. It’s a spread about how one of my images was made, from planning it to the finished image!

Pictures on their way to new owners!

October 19th, 2013

Just the other day i had the honors to give out one of the pictures that was sold during the exhibition! It’s always great to see ones images end up with someone who liked it so much they decided to buy it! I hope it will look good on your wall Maria!
