Car sales on the grill!
June 21st, 2013Shot a new image for Bilhallen this week. Their mascot, Stefan, was standing in front of a grill with a bunch of cars behind him. The agency had already found the location for the shot so all i had to do was to go there and start setting up the gear. I had the art director as astand in for Stefan as he would come when everything was all set. As the sun was on it’s happiest mood today Jimmy had to lay on the ground with a jacket over his head to be able to see the screen as i shot 🙂
I had some issues with the reflections in the cars, but i shot all the cars individually so i fixed that in post!
Permobil again
June 7th, 2013Permobil is a company which i have been working for quite some time now, and the other day i went out to their division for custom fitting to shoot some new pictures of their operation. The models, besides their chairs :), was of course the people that work there!
I lit the images not to advanced since it’s supposed to look natural. I had one light in front that was mixed with the ambient light and then one back light to make them pop out of the background. We did five images in total this day and now there is just some fixing to do before i can deliver them!
Campaign for Bolagsverket
June 5th, 2013Last week i started shooting a new campaign for Bolagsverket (the Swedish Companies Registration Office) to promote their services over the Internet. I shot two persons at their head quarters in Sundsvall. Now i will continue with six more images on different places. I’ll start by heading off down to Lund, Landskrona and Halmstad next week.
Soreption & sand
May 29th, 2013Yesterday i shot some new images for the band Soreption. I had found a really cool place where we did three different locations. If one is afraid of getting dirty this was NOT the place to be 😀 I spent quite some time cleaning my gear afterwards! It was kind of hard setting the light as i wanted, alot because all the rocks and stuff that was there, but on the other hand the rocks worked perfect to put the lamp head on when i needed a low light!
Now there are a lot of images to sort and choose from before i can stort working on them in Photoshop!
Nurses clothes in the studio
May 23rd, 2013Today i have been shooting clothes in the studio all day. It’s a company named Mittplagg who needed some new pictures. We made them a little bit different than before, we let the models use a small trampoline to jump up on each shot! This was to show how easy it is to move in these clothes. There was quite a lot of different clothes to shoot, both on models and on a puppet.
We had a great time all day! Everybody did a terrific job!
Rabih back in the studio
April 16th, 2013Today Rabih came to the studio for some new promotional images for a project that he’s involved in. I must say that the camera really loves him, i don’t i got one single frame that wasn’t great!
I lit him with the Profoto ProBig, on both close-ups and the shots from longer distance. I like that umbrella more and more!
I’ll try to post some examples from the shoot as soon as possible!
Portrait in the studio
April 15th, 2013On a ledge
April 14th, 2013Last friday i went to the university to shoot a portrait of two persons working on some kind of project where they find ways to get companies to go outside their “comfort zone”. At least i think that was what they did, not entirely certain exactly how it was … 🙂
The fun part was that i’d found a really cool stairway that they could stand on and then it would look a little bit like they floated in mid air! Little did i know that both of them was really scared of heights!
I lit the shoot with one Pro-7B and i had to raise the lamp head quite a bit, lucky for me that the pack weighs quite a bit so i could use it to prevent everything from tipping down over the ledge!
More rock’n roll in the studio
April 6th, 2013Yesterday it was time for some rock’n roll in the studio! The new band Hank releases their first single now on thursday and needed new pictures. The idea was to shoot them real clean without a lot of things and stage cloths. I shot them first with a white background and then dark grey, looked really cool with their black cloths!
You can almost instantly feel when you’ve got the picture, especially when you shoot this clean. We sat and looked at the shots afterwards and could see that even if two pictures almost looked identical, it could be a a pair of eyes or the way someone stood that made one great and the other a disaster.
I used my Profoto ProBig as the only light source in front of the band. It’s amazing i don’t use it more often since it gives such a great light!
